Today, what the machine operator has to know and see is vast. For that reason the Human Machine Interface (HMI) has to provide him with the optimum transparency. 

A whole new technology has emerged in the automated world of production; a technology which is gaining in significance. Operating and monitoring are essential in mastering a process and translate into both availability and productivity. 

The operating and monitoring training system gives the student an opportunity to gain insight into HMI technology. But advanced users are also able to profit from the simple text display provided by the Operator Panel and to train aspects of technology reaching all the way to PC-based HMI software.
