• Designing various mains systems used in customer installations (TT, 
• TN, TN-C, TN-S or TN-C-S systems) 

·  Choice of various protective components and how they
work in different mains systems 

·  Becoming familiar with various protective systems and how to test them with the
appropriate measuring equipment 

·  Carrying out initial and subsequent tests in accordance with
DIN VDE 0100-600  

• Dangers of electric current 

·  Advice to and instruction of people regarding hazards of electrical
systems 

• Evaluation of measurements and targeted fault finding 
• Preparing documentation and test reports 
• Continuity of equipotential binding conductors 
• Measurement of insulation resistance 
• Testing RCD circuit breakers 
• Measurement of loop impedance, 
• Measurement of local insulation impedance
